About Us
Gransha Riding Club is affiliated to British Riding Clubs and started in 1998, to encourage novice riders to compete, learn and have fun.
Since then it has grown to a membership of well over 150 with members ranging from the very young on lead rein to the other end of the scale. We aim to promote good horsemanship and encourage members to take the Junior and Senior Riding Club Test and the B.H.S. Riding and Road Safety Test . Members compete at Interclub competitions and the N.I. Riding Club Championships and at Club level we run our Dressage, Show Jumping and Working Hunter leagues throughout the Winter with the prizewinners receiving their trophies at the annual prizegiving along with the presentation of the Overall Champion and Endeavour Cups.
We meet on Wednesday nights @ Gransha Equestrian Centres excellent facilities with the Indoor School, warm up arena and the all weather arena for outdoor events and the Portacabin for meetings and talks etc. and the Junior Pre Novices have their competitions usually on a Saturday afternoon.
